The BSD Family: FreeBSD, OpenBSD, NetBSD, DragonFlyBSD.

DragonFlyBSD is another BSD variant based on the late FreeBSD-4.x series, and now further developed.

Version Schedule

2004-07-12: DragonFlyBSD 1.0 announced. 2006-07-24: DragonFlyBSD 1.6.x announced.

DFBSD also comes with a new port system which should resolve library dependencies trouble while upgrading multiple ports by making libraries seen to ports which require them, and this able to run different version (and its different versions of libraries) of a port simultaneously.
