We don't recommend using these old versions, and only provide them for reference. Instead use the "alternatives" listed below:

PNG PNG format, older browser don't display it or if without alpha (transparency) support

LIBUNGIF giflib or libgif without LZW

PNG has great future (July 2001) if new browser generation really start to support the alpha-channel fully, otherwise NON-LZW GIF (with UNGIF library) with transparency are 2-3 times larger than its LZW counterpart, unfortunately.
