Acer Peripherals: Ergo 31/9T:
Built in touchpad (between split keyboard), too small "Return" key (bad),
separate number-keys - $40 - $100 (varies very much)
Logitech Keyboards:
- "Cordless Desktop": too small "Return" key, palm rest, but cordless
including cordless mouse - $70-$100
- "New Touch": big "Return" (good), split keyboard (static),
palm rest, including touchpad (won't be supported under Linux, FreeBSD) - $30-$60
- "Internet Keyboard": compact, too small "Return" key, palm rest - $20-$40
Focus Electronics provides
very good keyboards as well:
Large "Return" key, trackball at "Space" key, and some have even
a calculater. The keyboard with track-ball, build-in calculator costs ~$60.
An unusual approach takes FingerWorks
with its FingerBoard, an almost zero-force keyboard with unified keyboard and mouse. Should
goes in production by 08/2001.
